The Events

Earth Day Trail Run and Walk – April 20

Over 250 racers from far and wide celebrate Earth Day Weekend on our beautiful terrain each year. In 2024, they can choose to run 10 K or 5K, or walk 1 mile. The start and finish are just as important as the race itself, as participants are treated to food and drink, music and prizes.

Summer Concert – June 29th

A celebration of summer at the Trust’s headquarters featuring live music, food trucks and beverages for the adults and the kids. Guided tours will be offered throughout the day that will lead guests to a special activity on our newly-acquired land. Special, limited edition merchandise will be for sale as well.

Fall Hayride Festival – October 19

A community favorite, our Hayride Festival makes its triumphant return this fall! This is by far our largest event, with 600 participants in previous years. Hayride appointments will be available throughout the late afternoon and evening. This fall festival will have an Oktoberfest vibe, with beer, food and music. There will also be seasonal activities for the kids, like pumpkin painting and s’mores making.

Gala – November 8th

This year’s Gala will give a nod to the June Fete Fair by focusing on the fashion and designers of the 1920s, that would have been featured at what was known as the June Fete Dress. Our “overgrown” approach will reflect how the Pennypack Trust is able to uphold tradition while focusing on sustainability and showcasing nature’s beauty.
