Educator Field Experience at PERT - CANCELLED

Thank you for registering for PERT’s Teacher Workshop. Unfortunately, we will need to cancel both the Saturday workshop, and the tentative Tuesday reschedule. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The workshop was designed to introduce educators and prospective volunteers to the field trip routes, activities, and learning stations we currently offer through partnerships with local school districts. PERT currently leads annual first grade, sixth grade, and high school field trips, using the Preserve as an outdoor classroom to explore forests, grasslands, wildlife, watersheds, water quality, and stewardship. I will keep your contact information on a list and reach out directly the next time we are able to offer this workshop.

If you are a teacher interested in bringing your students to PERT during the 2026–2027 school year, please reach out to me directly. I would be happy to discuss possible field trips or other ways we can work together.

For those interested in volunteering, we will especially need support with our first- and sixth-grade field trips in spring 2027. As we continue building partnerships with local schools, there will be more opportunities to get involved.
